Pain Rules? No, GUIDELINES!! This madness needs to stop. Please go to Medical Quality Assurance Commissions,MQAC and read the GUIDELINES.. Also to the doctors if you value your license let this be a suggestion, educate yourself or you will find yourself in a position of extreme discomfort, much like the patients being denied the standard of care that is demanded by law. This is indeed very frightening because this is what can happen when we let politicians create medical policy. There also needs to be some checks and balances on who is on the regulation writing committees. The State of Washington is more interested in saving money and not lives.

I live in Florida and was not aware of CVS's new policies. I am glad I do not do business with them.

Being a Director of a State Licensed Alcohol & Drug Outpatient Treatment program in Oregon I can say without a doubt that this "false crisis" is a major factor behind the explosion of heroin addicted clients.

I wonder how long it will take for some to realize that just filing a malpractice claim against Physicians that have their head in the sand regarding intractable
